A man from Kanawha County, West Virginia has filed a personal injury suit on behalf of his 16-year-old son who sustained personal injuries while using a friend’s dune buggy.
On August 19, Timothy E. Lloyd filed suit on behalf of his son, Timothy Alexander Lloyd, in Kanawha County Circuit Court against Elkview, West Virginia resident Alma Bradshaw.
The suit says that on July 18, 2006, Lloyd’s son was operating a dune buggy and John Bradshaw, Alma Bradshaw’s son was operating a motorcycle and riding with the younger Lloyd. According to the suit, the boys were under Alma Bradshaw’s supervision.
At some point, Lloyd was following Bradshaw up a hill when the dune buggy overturned, causing him to sustain serious personal injuries including a broken leg.
According to the elder Lloyd, he has incurred medical bills and suffered loss of consortium because of the injuries to his sun.
The suit says that Alma Bradshaw’s location at the time of the accident was unclear.
