
A suit has been filed by an Illinois woman claiming that she sustained personal injuries after being viciously attacked by a pair of pit bulls in East Alton, Illinois.
The suit was filed on September 26 in Madison County, Illinois Circuit Court by Kristen Base, who seeks damages in excess of $100,000 from Sarah Reynolds and Shane Reese, the owners of the dogs.
According to the suit, on August 19, Base was bitten, with no provocation, by the dogs on the right leg, left hand, forearm, and chest, causing injuries which required her to be hospitalized.
Base is claiming pain and suffering, loss of normal life, disability, disfigurement, and medical expenses.
