A father more interested in “sleeping” with his girlfriend than his 4-month-old infant has just booked a lifelong guilt trip with no exits.
A Waukegan, Illinois man went to his girlfriend’s apartment but forgot about babysitting his young boy. While he proceeded to the bedroom, his girlfriend propped the baby up on the couch with blankets. After the adults went into the bedroom, the girl’s dachshund apparently smelled urine on the sleeping baby and went nosing around.
Minutes later, the couple heard the baby screaming. When they reached the couch, the baby was hysterical and bleeding profusely.
The dog had pulled off the baby’s diaper, chewed off and ingested his genitalia. A veterinarian induced vomiting on the dog but the tissue had been destroyed making reattachment futile.
The boy was taken to a hospital emergency room by helicopter and is in stable condition. The Waukegan Police Criminal Investigations Division and the Lake County States Attorney’s Office are investigating. The Illinois Department of Child and Family Services has been notified. No charges yet have been filed.

Question: I am only in my 20s. Last month I received
personal injuries in a vehicular accident and am now unable to work. Is there a
certain age I must be to receive benefits from Social Security disability?
Question: I'm receiving benefits from Social Security
disability for myself, my wife and my son based on my severe disability. I also
have a daughter by my ex-wife who used to receive child support from me when I
was still able to work. Now that I'm disabled, can my daughter receive benefits
too?
